Is there any way to listen to these without paying?

you can listen... as long as your have java installed.

that being said, daytrotter's $2/month charge has been one of my best musical investments. i read their e-mails every day and only actually bite on about 1 artist a week (they release about 20/week). even with such light usage i have discovered two of my favorite artists of all-time aon their and downloaded about 200 live sets with amazing artwork and sound quality over the last several years... i would recommend it to anyone

what kind of emails?

jimmyeatsboys 11/29/12 01:23 PM

they just send me an e-mail every morning about what 4-5 sessions will be posted that day and also about special vinyl/merch offers they are doing. it's pretty great, but it definitely cuts my traffic to their site by about 95% lol

The follow-up to Separation can't come soon enough.

I've been meaning to check it out for a while now. I'll probably end up caving and subscribed. Thanks for clearing it up though, I was searching on my iphone and it didn't want to work. Now I know why!

I remember my senior year shadow day I followed a journalist and the most valuable information he gave me all day was to check out his friend's website daytrotter. That was back in the ol times, when you didnt have to pay for it, and milk was a quarter

Man, fuck this site. Signed up for a trial account with two different accounts and I'm not getting an activation e-mail for either of the accounts.
