Staff Recommendations: December 2nd, 2012

To get this low, I had to dig a great big hole.
BlakeBeen figuring out my year-end list, and have remembered loving some great records by Islands, Dowsing and The Shins
Jake DenningMy favorite YouTube channel is definitely the Hodge Twins. Makes me laugh so fucking hard.
Jack ApplebyNBA 2k13, New Myspace (get at me), Matter, and Via Coma
Keagan IlvonenFall Out Boy, Miguel and Gary Clark Jr.
Kelly DohertyI've fallen in love with Yellowbirddd's Highway Birches, Daughter's The Wild Youth EP has worked it's way back into my play a million times over playlist and Annabel's Youth In Youth is not just already one of the best emo albums of the year, but a late entry into my overall albums of the year.
Gregory Finally saw of Montreal and it was everything I expected it to be and more. Hope they're on your concert bucket list. Also, Levek.
Ryan GardnerLast Call's Dog Years, Fall Out Boy, and Make Do And Mend's Everything You Ever Loved. Also, I read Chuck Palahniuk's Invisible Monsters this week. Oh and can't wait to see Lydia with All Get Out tonight.
Deborah RemusGreat Lakes USA - Live Fast, Die Whenever is still one of the better records I listened to last month.

On the topic of YouTube channels, you should all check out Ashens and his other channel. He reviews cheap knock off toys and cheap food brand products. It's quite entertaining.

As for Music, I've been listening to Safe's Cinematic Ocean album:

and Stanley and the Search's self titled.
