Truth Or Consequence is the result of when Brooks Betts and Jeremy Lenzo of Mayday Parade team up with Alexandra Kees and friends to start a folk/indie band. The final product is an incredible concoction of seasoned musicians creating an amazing debut EP. Akin to Brighten or the later work of the now defunct 1997, this is sure to turn heads. Who is singing lead on this track? Is that Brooks? There is no way that is Jeremy. He sounds so bad when he sings live on Jamie All Over.

Hm. The melody didn't really jump at me, but I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on this group. Lots of potential.

Edit: I love how chill it is. I think I hear some Jack Johnson and Cat Stevens influence in there, which is amazing.

There is a song on the EP that will play more to the pop ears.

This is Brooks? Wow, that's awesome. They should utilize his voice more in Mayday Parade.

I agree that he should sing on some Mayday Parade songs. I think his voice and Jake's peppered in between Derrick's lines would be awesome. I'm not a huge fan of Jeremy's voice, I feel like he tries too much to sound like Jason.
