I was having a hard time today about deciding whether to pick up Letter Never Sent or Antonioni's Identification Of a Woman. I kind of just arbitrarily choose Letter, but now that I think about it I...

I love the 30 minutes of Kuroneko. So effectively moody (in a good way.) I though the rest kinda fell apart a bit but its really solid.

Yeah Bresson is great, honestly haven't seen a bad film from...

Whaaa, so do you like Amarcord better? I actually rewatched 8 1/2 three days ago and I don't remember it being so indulgent (but its still amazing.) On the other hand, Amarcord is almost unbearable...

Bullhead isnt bad, but you can tell its from a first time director though. Points not fully fleshed out and a questionable hammy soundtrack are examples of this. Not bad though

Symbiopsychotaxiplasm is good stuff. Its hilarious how intentionally cringeworthy the dialogue for the actors is.

Vertigo is nice, but unfortunately its too melodramatic for my taste. That scene when they kiss as the waves crash all around them made me turn my head from the screen. Plus that soundtrack,...

I haven't seen that, but from what I have experienced, I feel like this New Argentine movement seems a bit too aesthetically focused on their subject of isolation and indifference of the characters....

I think my biggest problem with Meek's Cutoff was Paul Dano. I don't know, thought he was just plain terrible

A Woman and Faces seem to be the most acclaimed of the set (and they're great), but nothing tops Opening Night for me. Gena at her best with Cassevetes' strongest direction.

Shadows is the only...

My fav C-Twins is Treasure - its the perfect combination of their earlier sound and the more pop-ish route they went on later. They're all good though, just avoid their last one

Yeah, Sparks may be...

The film I've seen the most is Throne of Blood, which I've seen 5 or 6 six times. I find it funny, although great, its not really a close/personal favorite.

I watched Rififi a couple of times...
