Does this band still sound like Modern Life is War? I wrote them off years ago because they were basically a less good version of MLIW.

I feel the exact same way. Love all their albums and those two songs off this EP.

I'm glad they only played Absolution Calling and Trust Fall at my show on the last tour.

I don't recall them ever being that popular the two times that I saw them. It's strange how some bands fade away and others get more popular the longer they are gone.

Top 10 for sure. The first 3 albums are stellar but after that it's hit or miss. For me, the misses are One by One, Echoes.., and Sonic Highways. The ones I didn't mention are solid. The band...

It looks like on the 6th they swapped out Generator and played Aurora instead. As long as they keep either of those songs, I'll be happy.

I saw them do Short Stories with Melanie a couple of times but I lost track of the band after The Fiction We Live. Looks like a fun show.
One True Thing has some good songs on that album.

Well said. If the facts are true, the guy is a bad person and you have every right to boycott him or the Warped Tour for paying him. The witch hunt thing is out of control in American right now. ...

The Afterman records were great and it's crazy that they aren't playing any cuts off them.

I may be in the minority, but I don't really care for festivals. We don't get too many in New England anyway. I'd rather see a band I like do a proper headlining show in a club or a smaller venue...

Loved this band, especially Sometimes Things Disappear and Chasing Hamburg. The best tour I asw them on was a headliner with Moving Mountains and Lemuria. Also seeing them open for Gaslight on the...

I think they played every song off Painted Shut last night in Boston. And 3 off of Get Disowned: Tibetan Pop Stars, Laments, and Kids on the Boardwalk.

I would love to see a MA/RI show in the future that isn't a festival. When's the last time that happened? Glassjaw tour in 2009? And only that Boston Calling show since 2009.

Great lineup. I hope tickets aren't wicked expensive. Seeing Deftones/Incubus tour together on White Pony and Make Yourself was incredible. Both put on great shows, though I haven't seen Deftones...

The poster looks to be a misprint. The show is happening at the Middle East downstairs.

Opened for Ignite.
Opened for Saves the Day.
Opened for Gorilla Biscuits.
Took out Fireworks (1st EP era)

Best time I saw them was after Mutiny came out and they ended their set with like 5 covers,...

Very interesting read. Loved Reset, Mutiny, and TWBTDOU. It's too bad they lost their way because they always put on a fun show and toured with good bands.

haaa. I understand but Adam has been doing that for 10+ years. I was at those Boston shows too a few years back.

Miami is definitely one of their best songs. I mean I loved their first album 10 years ago but I think Where You Want to Be and Louder Now have aged better. Those are the albums I reach for first...

Loved his drumming and love this band. Hopefully they keep on pumping out solid albums like they did when the original keyboardist left.

Why would you respect him for not going after RHCP? It's an obvious ripoff of the Petty song.

Really cool lineup. I'm not that familiar with Acceptance but I may give that Phantoms album a listen based on what everyone is saying. I saw them in 2003 and never took the time to listen to them...

I though Floral Green was okay but was not nearly as good as The Last Thing You Forget. I think I just preferred the louder, earlier version of the band. The progression between those two albums I...
