Suicide Season had largely metalcore instrumentals with a much higher overall tempo, Sempiternal has those influences on barely a few songs and it's very toned down - it's pretty different.

I still love the last song to bits, but some of it was just a little bit.. meh, a couple of really good songs though.

Well that and there's already a single that's been officially released for a good while now? I'm wasn't saying he's a bad producer, he did the new BMTH and that was great.

Yeah I thought the same, doesn't feel right from the clips, the heavy parts don't have the impact and the riffs aren't as sharp as Joey would have made them.

Looking forward to this, enjoyed quite a few of the Arms Like Yours songs a while ago before they broke up.

It's alright but not that exciting... Chris has los some of his vocal range over the releases and a lot of the songs are pretty predictable too. I miss how they mixed in sparse moments of melody...

Like the vibe, heavy sections aren't overdone, catchy chorus, really nice buildup before the outro.

Love the build up to the end and is definitely one of their best songs to date, that last chorus was one of those few moments when music can give me chills. Video is interesting concept, would have...

I swear you always say exactly what's on my mind, even down to the bands... -_-

Half the time I don't even bother replying, you got it covered.

Improvement on Genesis but they need a lead guitarist, a real one. Plus I wish they'd stop trying to imitate ADTR in their choruses.

Yes they really do, they can keep their new style but their guitars are so boring at the moment.

I wished the rest of their new album sounded more like this. What that album was in reality was such a disappointment, used to enjoy listening to these guys.

Those screams are so bad, the fact that he lips syncs them in the video like he's rapping is hilarious.

Instrumentation (guitars in particular) and captivating songwriting seems to be harder and harder to find nowadays in this kind of music, and it's such a shame. Say what you will about SWS debut...

Yeah it's not like every local fan of a local scene describes their local band as the nicest, hardest working, really sells them there... Not as good as their previous singles and the screaming still...

I'm guessing Cameron did the instrumentals etc..? Great chorus, interesting that it's different to what he did with Woe, Is Me and Issues.

Probably like "hmm, can you guys make it a bit less shit?"

Honestly that leaked version was just bad from all angles. Having said that, they have potential to be something more than just an Aussie...

Not sure, but everything after that album all have had the same new guitar/bass/drum tones as that MMF album (that terrible new WIM record for example - a little dirtier but still the same presets...

Everything about this is probably right. Just saw them live and they have improved a lot since last time.

I kinda agree with the review, the intro is awful and the outro as a bit too indulgent and they desperately need a 2nd guitarist who can play leads, but most of the EP is enjoyable. Even with the...

Yeah this review is pretty much spot on, I still think Tim Sherrill's departure in many ways affected this band more than Tyler. Paiano has been the worst addition to the band soundwise.

I would also love to hear a bit more variety in the guitar work (like lead guitars). But it seems like the song was written for a single rhythm guitarist to perform comfortably live (breakdowns and...

Needs a bit more variation, or some more interesting ambience or guitar work like their other stuff.

Really wish more people acknowledged this. And that Andrew Paiano they got as a replacement is pretty much a second chug guitarist who is too lazy/shit to play the lead parts from the old songs as...
