He sang on some Team Sleep tracks but his main band is Pinback, an awesome band that you should check out.

Very surprising track, in a good way. Pure vintage-sounding 70s prog rock, very reminiscent of King Crimson, wonderfully produced (eerie muffled sound, keys put at the forefront). No traces of death...

September=proggiest month ever (Dream Theater, Opeth, Mastodon)

I'm worried because I find this song really bland.

I don't like her music, way too poppy for me, but she is insanely beautiful. So I'm kinda upset that I don't like her music.

I really like this post, and I really like this avatar.

[EDIT] OK, I had a misconception against this band and now I'm listening to RFTS on Spotify and I must admit it's pretty cool. That Work in...

Weirdly awesome.

I think this is the only place on the Internet where this artwork isn't met with "it's awful" comments.

Cool, really cool. I loved Independence Day, off the Burnout 3 soundtrack. This soundtrack basically made me discover music.

I saw this comment on Sputnikmusic yesterday:

Easily my least favorite but whatever...

I'll finally get a chance to see this. I hope it will be released in France, or at least in Europe.

No, the indiest wedding of all time was the one between Ben Gibbard and Zooey Deschanel.

Congrats to them, though!

Terribly bland.

I'm not against their poppy side (I love Catch Without Arms) because they still manage to pull out wonderful melodies but here, it's just completely dull. I hope the other songs will...

Exactly what I thought.

Casually Dressed and Hours were their best works, in my opinion. Memory and Humanity was pretty good, Tales Don't Tell Themselves was average (one or two really good songs,...

Worse and worse...

To me, what we've heard so far from this new album is just generic, cheesy and bland. I don't have high hopes for it.

Liberation Transmission was actually pretty good once you...

I'm really happy to see Elbow at #30.

I'm too lazy to compile a year-end list, so I can't compile a decade-end list. I know there would be Lateralus, El Cielo and every single piece of music...
