I can't give you an answer for this but I can tell you I got there right when it started and I was able to get to the barricade by the time SYG was up. Not sure who you want to be at the barricade...

Yeah that's a problem with most small venues...
Yeah that's a problem with most small venues without a barrier, but I feel like bands and venue owners know better. They're not going to put real important gear at the front of the stage.
