Oh RyRo. I dug a handful of tracks on Pretty Odd tho, just like with all of their records. I don't get all the hate except for that it's completely different from anything else they've ever done. I...

Song's pretty good. Sounds like he's trying to be a Beatle on the vocals, though. I prefer his normal or at least his Matches voice.

Unrelated but they were really good the other night with 3EB. Might have been the setlist but I enjoyed them more than 3EB even though I'm a bigger 3EB fan.

"I'm Sorry I Told You All My Problems" is one of the best tunes Keith has ever written, regardless of the project.

That's true, poppier or poppy is an oversimplification and too vague. I think "less complex" than most of their discography describes it quite well. Still some good tunes, though. Unrelated but I was...

Even though no one asked me, at the moment I'd go:

1 - Come Back as Rain
(Close) 2 - Only Way to Be Alone
Tied for 3rd - S/T and Broken Into Better Shape

I see S/T and Broken very similarly in that...

I agree with this assessment as well as the comment that some tracks are a bit repetitive + it might be a grower (which is kind of funny given that it's likely their poppiest and most radio friendly...

Love seeing Tim hanging out. They should definitely keep an open door policy for him. Forever.

Don't like it as much as Broken Into Better shape but a nice song just the same. Looking forward to this record quite a bit.

It's all right, probably better live like most of their stuff, particularly the intense stuff. Like Inhaler, for instance, which is 1000 times better live.

Yeah I've only caught a few episodes so far but I like his style. He's giving Jimmy F a run for his money when it comes to being the most laid back/casual with the guests while using them effectively...

Agreed with the 90's/3EB kind of vibe. I like it, don't love it, though. I like something about the production more than I have on their last couple of releases. Feels a bit grittier or something.

I haven't been huge on either EiE or Rites of Passage but I'm sure there will be some gems on there just like any other 3EB record.

I really like this. I can imagine the song without the orchestral vibe and I can't see it being nearly as effective; it's used extremely well so I'm looking forward to the rest of the album.

I'll admit that Ursa sounds pretty different from the rest of their catalogue, or at least it does to me, but as others have said it's very solid top to bottom with little filler unlike some of their...

They played a hilariously awful cover of Sweater Song the other night. Wasn't sure what to think from the live versions of this song and was keen to finally hear the studio, sounds really good.

Wow, beautiful. I absolutely love this song. Got chills during this one like I did when I first heard My Own Sinking Ship.

Man I feel like I should be playing with that many bands. Wonder why Frank Turner isn't later in the day or at least on the Pyramid Stage.

Great song and love the Eternal Sunshine video vibe and all the old TEN clips. Makes me wistful as hell tho.
