The album is over or the song is over. Since you listened to it in the past, I don't see why it matters if you use the word "was."

Ha. I think they've been playing the first 8 songs in the setlist for years. I wish they'd switch up the old songs more.

Gates is awesome and they were fantastic live after the last album came out.

I'd guess the "Boston" show will be at the Palladium and bands like Reach the Sky will be on the bill. Like the earlier poster said, there is no way they'd play with At the Drive-In.

I listen to the Weekend in the City B-sides almost as much as the regular albums. I think somebody dubbed them "The Weekend isn't Over."

Reading the intro, I thought for sure you must have John Moreland on your list. I really like how much you can feel the emotion in his voice.

I agree that the Death Cab album also had some great...

From what I can remember from a week ago... a rough setlist in no order from the Cambridge show:

Abby Normal
Cover the Roots, Lower the Stems
With One's Heart in One's Mouth
Lights and Shapes

Boston crowd was great and usually is for a KD show. I wasn't a fan of Tigers Jaw's early stuff except for a couple songs but I really enjoyed their set. On the other hand, I was a huge Owen fan...

Boston KD show had a great crowd. There were hardly any shouts for particular songs and the crowd was incredibly quiet during the softer songs. Now I'm kind of glad Jesse Lacey wasn't there.

I totally read that flyer as new dates, not 2008. Those are some long drives. Definitely a cool show at the Allston date.
The 5/17/08 show was actually SYG, No Trigger, Just Surrender, I Am the...

Not a fan of this. Really liked Tim's guitar and backup vocals in early Transit.

That's fucked up. It was really convenient to know the actual prices before you went through all the steps. When I lived closer to the city, I'd make ticket runs to the physical box office to avoid...

I disagree. Service fees are becoming more visible in the buying process. Ticketmaster now shows you the total cost of the ticket (ticket price + service fees) when you click to buy tickets. You...

MovMou is so freaking good and I hope more people have listened to them since they went on hiatus. I went to their last show before the break and they couldn't fill a 200-person bar.

I first read this and was surprised since the US dollar has been so strong lately plus gas is so cheap. But then I noticed that you're from Canada.

Insurance would cover a chunk of it. Depending on the specific insurance and the specific drug, that insurance payment could be big or small.

I don't have a problem with how Geoff has handled the story at all. He worked with an investor and the investor did a greedy, douchebag thing (but not illegal). Geoff distanced himself from the...

I wonder how these shows will work. Will Kevin do a full set or play with everyone else for 25 minutes apiece or something like that?

Does this band still sound like Modern Life is War? I wrote them off years ago because they were basically a less good version of MLIW.

I feel the exact same way. Love all their albums and those two songs off this EP.

I'm glad they only played Absolution Calling and Trust Fall at my show on the last tour.

I don't recall them ever being that popular the two times that I saw them. It's strange how some bands fade away and others get more popular the longer they are gone.
