I watched 344. My initial goal was 200, so I smashed that. It would've been nice to have gotten 365, but my laptop broke for the final sprint. Aiming for a similar score this year.

The plot was extremely clichéd, one major hole Tommy getting back into the US. Edgerton and Hardy were perfect. I don't watch MMA, but the fight scenes were believable. Had me on the edge of my seat. Throw in The National bookending the film to make it probably one of my favorites released in 2011.

Yeah, definitely agreed. My only complaint about the movie is that I wish they would have given the story around the family a bit more resolution. Mainly, Nolte seeing his granddaughters at some point. Definitely one of the most emotional scenes, excluding the final fight, that they could have made something great out of but instead left unresolved.

How was We Bought A Zoo? I know that Jónsi did the score so I was pretty interested in seeing it just based on that.

Overall, I liked it. I'm a fan of Crowe and there's some great scenes here, but there's also some really awful cheesy and ridiculous sequences. Crowe didn't write the film (the writer of 27 Dresses actually did) but I think at the end even though you may not buy into the over the top sentimentality of it, you'll still walk out with a smile.

Ah, cool. Yeah, you gotta figure a movie like that is gonna be a bit cheesy. I'll probably wait till it hits DVD then pick it up at Blockbuster.
