I don't listen to either, but I feel like TDWP are slightly less..Risexcore-esscque don't you?
Ya, I agree, but both came up on the same label and kind of the same electronic hardcore wave, but TDWP have strayed far away from their original sound. AA! are trying to do the same it seems like with the release of their new CD.

I'm a huge fan of Attack Attack! and I loved This Means War and especially the self-titled. Can't wait to see what they bring out next!

And I know ETID have criticized AA! in the past, but I wonder if they defended AA! in that video post from earlier, would the responses be any different rather than all the hate AA! is getting.

My expectations for their latest were pretty high. I was pretty dissapointed. Maybe they can prove me wrong in the future, but I doubt it.

so, when bands get big and leave a label like this, do they get to keep the same management/booking usually?

so what i took from this was, "we wrote a record and 12 other songs in like 3 days with this guy without any pressure, sold a bunch of copies of the record we just put out, so well drop off our label and release these songs we didn't think about and make a bunch of money on it without a label jumping on our profits"

That depends on those ties with the label, I'd imagine.

Seems like so many bands try doing this, how many actually work?
