I just finished reading Drive by James Sallis. I had watched the movie a few months ago and absolutely fell in love with it. Most of the book reviews i read said that the book was good, but it was a rare case where the movie was better. I have to disagree with those reviews. I think that both are equally brilliant. The book is only 150 pages, but i read it in one day because i just couldnt put it down. Very highly recommended. Im also curious to see if anyone has read the sequel Driven (also by James Sallis) and what their thoughts on it are.

Absolute favorites in no specific order:
The Book Thief - Markus Zusack
Watership Down - Richard Adams
The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy (all of them except the new one by Eoin Collifer, it's just not the same) - Douglas Adams
Anything Neil Gaiman... Seriously.

Loves (in no order):
Animal Farm - George Orwell
Antigone (it's a play in book form, okay?) - Sophocles
The Odyessey and The Iliad (they are in book form...) - Homer
Oedpius Rex
The first three Maximum Ride books - James Patterson but only because of the people I met because of these books, quality wise they mediocre YA books
The Lake House and When The Wind Blows - James Patrerson (actually good)
Artemis Fowl - Eoin Collifer (like most Of the series but the first was best)
Zombie Survival Guide - Max Brooks
To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee
And anything written by Jules Verne
The Kite Runner - Can't remember the dude's name done feel like looking up
Les Misérables - Victor Hugo
Pride, Prejudice and Zombies
A Song of Fire and Ice series
A Voyage of the Dawn Treader (and the rest Of Narnia but that one is my favourite)
Battle Royale
The Outsiders - S.E Hinton
A Series of Unfortaunte Events
Winnie the Pooh - A.A Milne
The Little Prince-Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Gone Series
The Thief Lord - Cornelia Funke (she is such a good children's writer)

And these are just the books I remember liking and still like, dear god.

I really fucking hate Lois Lowry though, I don't understand how ANYONE can like his work. And I'm probably missing a few classical Greek plays...

Can't think of a single non-fiction I have enjoyed though. I don't really read them to be honest.
