I've been really enjoying the most recent season over the past few episodes. It's really gotten back to a good place.

season six starts off really shaky, but once it picks up, my god, it's amazing. and season seven has been very consistent. it's just that season five is so good that anything after can't live up to it, but it gets damn close sometimes.

I love how for most of the season finales they use Kansa's Carry On My Wayward Son, I always thought it was a good fit for the show.

Looks like we're getting a new show runner, Sera Gamble is stepping down. Jeremy Carver is taking over with Robert Singer.

This show is brilliantly self-referential. Also, it nails the hilarious/true darkness blend almost as well as Doctor Who.

A few more thoughts. The fake Agent names they give are always fucking hilarious. Also, the dude who plays Castiel just bleeds cool.

Love how they use the names of classic rock band members haha Misha Collin's is a great add to the cast and his relationship with Dean is one of the highlights of the show.

Castiel's unintentional deadpan humor is too much for me at times.

Cass' obsession with red meat in the Valentine's episode is so brilliant. Collins' natural ability for dead panning lines is unbelievable. He takes otherwise bland lines and makes them so hilarious and memorable.

Dean: 'Seriously, man. What is it with you and those?'
Cass: 'They make me...very happy.'
Dean: 'How many is that now?'
Cass: 'Lost count. In the low hundreds.'

new episode this week, right? the one where the boys can see bobby as a ghost ? (Cody, that's one HUGE spoiler. do NOT look at it.) been looking forward to this one. and at the same time dreading it because i know it's going to make me cry like a little bitch.
