In 2011, Kilgore, LaBosky, and Tiernan reunited to play music together again, joined by Laudenslager and Mastroianni in the rhythm section. After playing a string of shows, the group evolved into something entirely different from its previous incarnation. The five young men then started writing collaboratively, a new concept for many of them.
With newfound inspiration, a fresh stylistic direction, and no short supply of patience, they created a new identity for their band, and crafted an arsenal of songs. While Tiernanís words reflect change, love and personal growth, Kilgore, LaBosky, Laudenslager, and Mastroianni thunder on with solid-rock inspired instrumentals. The band played their first show in as Moving Brooklyn in 2012, winning a battle of the bands and earning a spot at the Hartford, CT date of the Vans Warped Tour.
Moving Brooklyn can best be defined as a fun, energetic live act that you wonít want to miss. As these five musicians can tell you, making music in good company is just as much an important component to success as any.
