Maker is releasing a brand new self-titled EP on Nov. 13th through Asbestos Records in the US and Engineer Records in the UK, and today we're premiering the opening track, "Shadows." Maker has fully embraced the indie/emo sound, following in the footsteps of other site favorites like The American Scene and Transit. The band will be supporting Major League (No Sleep Records) and Turnover (Run For Cover Records) on a full US tour from Nov. 16th - Dec. 23rd where the group will be playing new material. Head to the band's AP.net profile to listen and leave your thoughts in the replies.
This EP is pretty great. fourth song sounds like it could have come right off of The American Scene's new album. This is probably the least TAS sounding song on the EP. but yeah. it sounds a ton like Safe For Me.
It's been cool following these guys, since they're a local band from around here, from being a stereotypical pop punk band to growing into a band with a more mature sound. I like this.
