Watch Morrissey's interview and performances of "People Are the Same Everywhere" and "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris" from last night's The Colbert Reporthere, here and here, respectively.
I don't think he liked Colbert in that interview. He got roasted a little bit.
i laughed so hard during this interview last night. you know colbert - satirical attacks are very common. it looked like morissey was trying so hard to stay in his character and not laugh, at the end he was definitely cracking a smile because how light hearted the interview was.

He kind of asked for it by starting the interview off with that legend comment. The dude tried to make Colbert look stupid right at the beginning and was being kind of smug about it. You can't do that to Stephen haha you almost always end up losing that battle.

yeah I know that. Everyone knows that Colbert is a character on his show. But the way he told the crowd not to laugh and his expression on a few comments just made him look like he wasn't too enthusiastic about the interview.
I was really disappointed to find out "Action Is My Middle Name" was swapped out for "People..." I'm really not a fan of "People" - it's one of my least favorite of his in a long while, the vocals are Moz on auto-pilot, and the music just shows why they need Whyte back.
