Hey guys! I've been running a tumblr blog for the past couple months for underground music, and I need people to give me news stories! The blog is called The Scene is a Family, and has between 100-200 followers so it could be a decent bit of exposure. although as far as the tumblr universe goes, that's not necessarily a large number. Anyways, I'm always trying to find more bands to help out so if you would like some press on a new release, tour dates, new merch, new music videos, etc please feel free to email me a story at thesceneisafamily@hotmail.com Press is always 100% free, and if you send an album or something that I really dig I've been known to do a full-on review every now and then for the hell of it. We aren't genre exclusive so feel free to submit no matter what your sound. Also if you have a tumblr please follow us!

For those who are interested in the throwback long island sound. We are Nobody Takes Vegas a 5 piece rock band from Long Island, New York following in the footsteps of bands such as Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, The Movielife, Envy on the Coast, and Glassjaw. Its awesome that your doing this first of all! Im never on Tumblr but i checked out your page and im impressed! If your interested, My band would love to be a part of it. We are a technical metal/hardcore band from Montreal Quebec and have played shows with bands like Architects (UK), Structures, Upon a burning body, I the breather, Like Moths to flames betraying the martyrs...
We released our EP late August and have been releasing the songs on our youtube page. We have a jusic video that if youd like to share we would be happy!
