Don't bother. I'm a huge FOB fan and have always supported Pete with whatever projects he was working on/defended his actions, but this book is pretty terrible. Was lucky (unlucky?) enough to receive an advanced copy of this through work and it's just not good at all. Was really a struggle to make it through the entire book and not just chuck it to the side.

eh... that's a sad thing to hear especially with it being only 240 pages long...

I was listening to Cork Tree for the first time in a long time, and realized how much I like it.

Aw, it sounded pretty interesting too. Shame to hear it sucks, honestly.

I had no idea he was putting a book out, might check it out.

Yeah, I was really disappointed as well, and I didn't really have that big of expectations going in to it. I don't know, maybe I'm just being a snotty, high-brow English major, but the only thing I took away from this book is that Pete reaaaaaaally likes his nautical-theme metaphors. Yeah, just not good.
