One time when I worked at a grocery store, this big fat black chick got pissed at me because we were out of the discounted frozen shrimp she wanted. So she called headquarters right in front of me and reported me to whomever for being a horrible employee. A few months later I saw her working at a local Starbucks. She remembered my name and our encounter, which freaked me out, and she seemed somewhat apologetic. I made my order (I don't remember what it was), I left, and didn't think anything of it until I was in the car sipping on my drink which tasted like crap. I dumped it out and saw this thick lumpy green stuff at the bottom of the cup. To this day I have no clue what it was or what she did; for all I know she shit in my cup and filled it up.

I got fired yesterday for asking my manager if I could leave early last Monday. Apparently she told her boss that I just waltzed out angrily. Yay unemployment.

You could of easily gotten her fired for that, I don't know why you didn't do anything about it.

Okay, so let me tell you guys about this shit:

So we have this huge deadline of Dec 31st for this really important project at work. Since the beginning of November I've been working 10-12 hour days mon-fri and 6 hours on Saturdays. Out of mostly my own will, although they do make you feel guilty if you don't stay. So anyway, now the holidays are here and everyone in this fucking company gets Christmas Eve and New Years Eve off, making it a four day weekend.But, not us. Or so, we thought. Here's the thing, we need maybe one day left to finish it, everything after that is stuff that we have til the end of January to complete.

So, why the fuck do we need to be here on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve for work that doesn't have to be done? Like, we can't have one fucking day off after all is this time? I can't even get two days off in a row.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

They didn't tell us until FRIDAY that we had to come in. They made it sound, by wording and behavior that it was absolutely mandatory or we would get in trouble or something. I remember when one girl tried to get them to say it was "mandatory" they just hesitated and were like "well, you know, technically it is a work day, so yes and no but you have to come in" and just dicked around the whole thing.

Then my HR lady called my boss and I overheard her getting in trouble for basically giving us this short-notice impression that its MANDATORY we come in. It seemed to end with the fact that technically, she didn't say the word "mandatory", so I think that's why she didn't send out a type of correction and this is all just coming out now by all of us putting these pieces together. They just implied it.

And guess what, the fucking asshole supervisors and managers didn't even come in today. Why should they? They know its not mandatory, they couldn't even come in and face their employees for a few hours. Fuck them.

I'm so pissed, and beyond EXHAUSTED. I haven't had even two days in a row off, and I'm just pissed as shit they lied and that I'm fucking here when I just want to sleep and cry from tiredness. I need a break, and I'm so pissed that I'm here now. Fucking assholes, dude.

I had this crazy guy come into the store where I work and ask if we sell shoes (it's a bookstore). He said he had walked all the way from Alaska to Washington because nobody would give him a ride and that he messed up his feet doing that but he didn't have enough money for a doctor (or a pair of shoes from Payless). He then proceeded to tell me what a warrior for Christ he was and that his name apparently meant something ultra Christian and that made him better than other people. By this time I was barely listening and he ended up talking about how his brother got shot down in front of him in Spokane, and then he vaguely threatened me. I was this close to having my coworker call 911.

at my place of work I am a shift supervisor with another girl and the store manager. The other shift supervisor sucks. she never shows up and has no idea what she's doing but of course she hasn't gotten fired

I was going to have tomorrow off and new years eve but thanks to her stupidity I have to work 19 out of the next 20 days

I used to work at a really crappy, run down bar when I was fifteen through seventeen. There were some shady motherfuckers that used to frequent there, but that's another story. Anyway, we used to just dick around all the time. When we got bored, the cook (who I used to be really good friends with) and I used to throw knives at this wall. It is now covered in holes and shit. We also used to try to make each other fit in the dummy waiter and pull each other up and down. Sometimes we would take the golf carts out onto the course and goof off for a couple minutes. Basically, we would just do dumb shit because we were bored and the place was a hellhole.

I used to work at an animal hospital, and would take rooms with the veterinarian all the time. One couple comes in and complains that there dog has been vomiting all day, which prompted the vet to ask if the dog may have eaten something she shouldn't have. The two guys shift uncomfortably and then say "well, she may or may not have consumed a few grams of crystal meth".

I fix computers at a local shop. People come in all the time with the FBI Virus on their computer



Basically, it's a scam. But recently we have gotten a few people who have come in that actually believe the FBI is watching them (because the virus shows their webcam feed on the screen if they have one) and have sent money in as part of the scam! People ask if we can help them get their money back and we basically tell them "Sorry, you're fucked, call the credit card company!"

Funny thing is, this virus takes all of 5 minutes to remove!
