It's New Year's Eve, so we might as well close out the year with one last awesome exclusive for 2012. Today, I'm very excited to premiere a brand new The Appleseed Cast song titled "North Star Ordination," which you can stream in the replies. It's a part of an upcoming 7" that's a part of the Graveface Charity Series, which you can read about here. We also have the exclusive scoop on the band's upcoming 8th LP - it's titled Illumination Ritual and will hit stores on April 9th via Graveface Records, which is something to definitely get excited for in 2013. So check out the new track and let us know what you think in the replies.
I actually listen to Sagarmatha the most, probably because it was the first Appleseed Cast album I heard, but agreed with the above: LLO is, objectively, probably their best.
That said, I can't wait for a new album. I've been eagerly awaiting this one after the great Middle States EP. Also can't wait to see the vinyl version of the new one. Graveface always has the best records.
I think the new song is great, especially at the end.
As for my favorite release, I haven't listened to anything past Two Conversations yet (I'm fairly new to the band), and I've only listened to each album once or twice, but I enjoyed the LLO releases the most.
