Man. I wouldn't be as bummed about it if he hadn't said before that he was absolutely not lying. But he's still done a lot of great charity work and inspired a lot of people so it ain't really that bad. Shame he's not for real though. I mean the guy can ride a bike. As I'm reading what I'm typing I'm really becoming less impressed by "cycling" as a sport. Ah well. Quit telling lies, ya dungus.

i remember how a lot of articles talking about how he did so well because of his enlarged heart pumping more blood ect... Even though he did what he did, he still worked his ass off on that bike for hours and hours at a time, more than I could ever do but he still is a liar and cheater.

who gives a shit, it's cycling? yes, it takes a super human athlete to do, but it's still cycling.

the guy raised a bunch of money by riding a fucking bike. I do not care either way and nobody else but the guys he beat should either

Of course a lot of people expected it, but it's still tough to hear him finally come out, especially considering how polarizing his legacy will be. Athlete who used PED's but helped millions of cancer at the same time.

I say forgive and forget, he's out of the sport for good now anyway. Lord knows the kind of pressure that has been put on him over the years, not that it really makes it any better.

There are more important things for people to be super upset over, in my opinion.

I definitely agree with this and I think it can be applied to a lot of other sports situations as well. People get way to up and arms and offended over stuff in sports that has literally no effect on them or pretty much all of the rest of the general population at all.
