So I was wondering if there is a difference between the Original release of Four Minute Mile (1997) and the Remastered release (2001). I know it comes with different artwork, but are the songs different sounding in anyway? Thank you

According to wiki, the 2001 version was remastered, so yes the songs may sound a little different.

I don't think so, I think it was more of a reissue. Isn't the raw sound one of the things everyone loves Four Minute Mile for anyways?

Here in lies my problem. I also saw that it said "remastered" and not re-released, but I am yet to find any different sounding tracks out there in the world.

I've got both versions on CD and to me the remastered edition sounds a little more polished but it's nothing drastically different.
