An employee of the Nashville venue Rocketown was recently fired after 7 years of employment for wearing a Hostage Calm "I Support Same-Sex Marriage" shirt.
Do people not understand this yet? Christians are opposed to gay marriage. Does this come as a surprise to anyone? Rocketown is and has ALWAYS been a christian venue. They are arguably more tolerant than most christian institutions. But did anyone expect them to be pro gay rights? Why did you work there for more than month if you're that open about your non-Christian beliefs. Moreover, if you liked your job, why would you wear a shirt that CLEARLY would stir the pot? He knew what he was doing wearing the shirt.
