Definitely my most anticipated coming out of Sundance (aside from Before Midnight, of course). Woodley's performance in The Descendants was my #1 supporting female of last year, and Teller blew me away with his few scenes in Rabbit Hole. The comparisons to The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Adventureland certainly help as well. Ponsoldt has a seriously bright future.

To give wider recognition to a variety of performances. Though if I go by what I assume you're asking, she'd still be in my top 3 of last year. I was blown the fuck away.

The comparisons certainly turn me off from this film, but Ponsoldt's debut was a huge surprise last year.

This sounds very promising and I hope it gets a UK release too. Shailene Woodley was outstanding in the Descendents and all the reviews of this film I've seen have been very positive.

Will check out the book before the film too.

This and Fruitvale were the two I couldn't wait to hear about and they both got great reviews so I cannot wait to see it. It's also kind of insane how great of an actress Shailene Woodley is when she's working with the right material.

Also, I read the book this was based on and a script that was floating around and both are just really great.

Just saw this. It's this generation's Say Anything... Take that for what you will. Shailene Woodley is absolutely fantastic, and this is coming from someone that wasn't that taken with her in The Descendants.

Oh, and Kyle Chandler is perfect. Totally against type for him, and he nails it.
