At Yellowcard's show in Fargo this past Sunday, Ryan Key said that whatever they do for Ocean Avenue's 10th anniversary would be "much more than a tour." Any ideas what they could be up to? Maybe a 10th anniversary re-release?
For the tour, I was predicting it to be a double anniversary tour. Sometime in late November or late December, some of the members of Yellowcard met with some of the members of Story of the Year. I was thinking about cool it'd be if they did a co-headline anniversary tour. Ocean Avenue and Page Avenue are both ten years old this year. They could call it "The Avenue Anniversary Tour". Done.
Not sure. Idk what you can do thats much more than a tour.
Would dig an acoustic album and a tribute album would be sweet. An Ocean Avenue cover album featuring bands like The Wonder Years, ATL, and other bands that the album influenced? The songs will pale in comparison of course, but thatd be rad.
Cant wait for this tour though. Its in my top 3 favorite albums, and seeing this tour is a must. Im sure itll come to my city, but Id travel thousands of miles to see this.
