Haha. So true. I was so pumped to hear this, but this is just SO bland compared to their other material. Sounds like it's trying way too hard.

Man, they just stray farther and farther from the sound of their best albums. Not a bad song, but I was really hoping to a return to their 90's sound.

Edit: On second listen, it's growing on me.

Man, I love The Goo Goo Dolls but they are becoming a bit of a guilty pleasure with each new record released. Catchy as hell though! I like it.

Yeah, sounds like Matchbox 20, Train, Mat Kearney last album, that OneRepublic song ("Good Life") but it doesn't sounds like what Goo Goo Dolls the band we all know. But since the last album was more of the same suff, this is fresh air for them. I'm sure the album will contain midtempo numbers and ballads.

It sounds pleasant in the ears.

This is just me, but when a song have "Rebel" in the title, I always imagine it to be a 70's rock 'n' roll or AC/DC-inspired track. Not an acoustic summery song.
