Only details so far is that it will focus on the US Army Air Forces and that the source material will be Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany by Donald L Miller.

I'm a fan of both mini series but i think i'm in the minority that preferred The Pacific.

very stoked. got both mini series for christmas. would love to see what they do with the dogfighting as well some of the aerial shots.

I'll bet anything that there will be one more mini series after this focusing on the Navy, probably the crew of the USS Enterprise.
