This is awesome news. I can only imagine what they can do with him now that they have matured and made some killer music. I did like the vocalist they had for Portals and Motherland. I hope they kept him and are going to do dual vocals.

I hope they do vocals as well. I'll say it first - the newer guy blew the older one out of the water. I'd actually say the guy on The Game Of Life kind of sucked.

me too. i feel like this band has been through a lot of shit. I still remember seeing that news post their bassist on here.

This isn't really news if you have been keeping up with them. That aside, they also lost a founding member and guitarist in ArthurAlvarez.

Since you seem to be in the know, is the Portals vocalist gone? (IMO the better vocalist)

Portals was great. They kinda lost me with Motherland. Hope this will be better.

Never listened to them but always thought they had a bad name.

He died on his 21st birthday. I'm from San Jose and this band is from Santa Cruz and it was a big deal when it happened. They played a show in Santa Cruz in memory of him. It had a huge turn out and all of the proceeds went to Pat's family. During the set the band stopped playing and asked for a moment of silence for Pat. Some fuckwad yelled out, 'FUCK PAT' during the moment of silence. I have never seen so many people chase one person out of the room. The guy got a serious ass beating.

I may be mistaken, but wasn't jeremy bolm once involved with this band?

I personally prefer this vocalist to the more recent one, especially since I think they had more fun with him. Really excited to hear what they have to put out now.
