Hellz. Yeah. I'm going to be blasting this all summer long. I know it'll be worth the wait because they have yet to disappoint me.

I really hope it's in the same vein as OS. Congratualtions was okay, but compared to OS it was disappointing. I wouldn't mind if they found a nice mix of both albums though

MGMT = mediocre experimental band that had a few fluke hit singles.

I still don't understand why so many people disliked their last album... Honestly, besides the singles OS really isn't that different at all. songs like 4th dimensional, of moons and the handshake could easily have been on Congratulations. In my opinion it is one of the most underrated albums. Anyways, I can't wait to hear this! the new song they've been playing live sounds amazing.

I'm really excited to see how this turns out.

I say that all the time to people they look at me like I'm an idiot. I always tell them "take away the dancey singles and the 2 albums arent that different".

Can't wait to listen to it on mushrooms.

I couldn't have said it any better. I wasn't let down by congratulations. But it wasn't as good as I expected. Still listen to it though.

Fluke singles? Really? I highly disagree with that. Kids, electric feel, time to pretend, weekend wars, flash Delirium, Siberian Breaks. Etc.

Now I'm not saying you have to like them because we all have different taste. But I feel like you're going over board calling them a fluke. They deserve the attention. Just because you don't care for them doesn't mean they're a fluke.

anything mgmt releases is amazing.
their recent fleetwood mac cover is spectacular.

of monsters, and 4th dimensional transition were the shit. the whole album has been played well over 200 times to my ears
