I heard a song on Alt Nation and the voice sounded familiar, so I did some researching that led me to a new little band called Night Terrors of 1927. As it turns out, the masterminds behind this project are none other than Jarrod Gorbel (formerly the leader singer of the Honorary Title) and Blake Sennett (ex-guitarist for Rilo Kiley. He also produced Jarrod's solo album Devil's Made a New Friend) They've been playing some Los Angeles shows and have released 2 songs so far. The one from the radio is Dust and Bones, an infectious synth-pop track. The other is called "Watch the World go Dark."

This has so much potential. It's about time we heard some stuff from Jarrod again.

official music video for "Dust and Bones" came out today. it's mostly just a montage of couples and explosions.

I wish they'd give us some tentative album details.
