I could have seen them making a great album of this if they'd have switched out Gun and Ambulance for Party Poison and Vampire Money. Those DD tracks make more sense cohesively with this scrapped material. Then again they said they recorded 30 or more songs if I remember correctly, so there's even more where this came from. Glad we got to hear these and it makes me wonder if these were what they thought were the best of the batch, besides the few that were reincarnated on Danger Days. There are 2 other live songs they played that weren't released here as well, "Stay" and The Drugs, I think. |
Gun and Ambulance were the only songs on this worth two shits to me, honestly. But then again, I prefer The Black Parade and Danger Days over any of their other stuff, so it makes sense.
