Holly Wood, Pretelethal, and Iron Fist were the only songs that i didn't like from Ascension/Descension. other than that they were both solid-to-great albums

Awesome album. This is far better than Ascension, although it could be because I overplayed Ascension. I can't even listen to Domino anymore

They killed it again! God I love this band.

As a whole, probably their third best album, which means its great in my book. Congratulations Coheed, you've done it again.

Can't wait to receive my deluxe vinyl.

The only song I'm not too sure on is Pretelethal. It's definitely interesting, and sounds like it could be on NWFT when it kicks in. But other than that, this album is fantastic. The Afterman in full is definitely the best album they've released since Good Apollo I.

I hate Pretelethal, it's so awkward so I skip it every time.

There's a sense of fun that's back in these albums that's been missing since "Good Apollo."

For anyone who doesn't get it on the first couple listens; don't worry, it gets better.
I just listened to Descension while reading the concept for the first time and it just makes me love it even more. This concept is probably going to have a more lasting impression on me than any of their previous albums based on where I am in life right now and particularly my marriage. I love that I've grown up with this band and Claud's subject matter has grown along with them.

I didn't think it possible, but they matched Good Apollo 1 in creativity and ambition. It doesn't have the "Welcome home", or "The final cut", or any of the willing well tracks I've been waiting for that showcases their guitar prowess. However, it's an album that's as bombastic as Good Apollo 1 and deeply goes into uncharted territory that Coheed hasn't treaded on before and does it well.

Good Job Coheed and Cambria, this is why you're my favorite band.

really want to know more about the concept for this one. I've seen track by track videos on Youtube for Ascension but I wasn't a big fan of that album so I'm hoping they do somthing similar for this one which I love.
