I remember finding out about TRS years ago from an Amped game for Xbox 360. Or maybe it was SSX. Anyway, I saw Bryce Avary in a casino in Vegas once. I always kick myself for not saying anything to him.

She's My Baby and TV Family are my jams, but I love that entire album. I've been listening to it all day. Bryce is such a fantastic songwriter.

Such a great album. I enjoyed the dvd it came with as well.

Cross My Heart was a mainstay as my myspace profile song in 7th grade. I hadn't listened to it since then until right now and this song still rules.

Never gave this guy the time when I was younger, because I was too cool, with The Used and TBS and what not, but looking back, and listening now, this stuff is really, really great. Very talented singer songwriter this guy is. He was kind of like NeverShoutNever way before NevershoutNever, in a way - although he is much more talented.

How big, in terms of mainstream appeal did The Rocket Summer get? I honestly don't know, but there's no reason why this couldn't have been big... although maybe it was. I remember some of my friends really liked TRS, but in terms of mainstream ish, Im' not sure.

..and the skies such a sweet bluuuuuue, and you made this come truuuuuuue..

Given how many incredible CDs came out in 03, I will expect to see one of these posts like every other week. What a great year.

I can't recall The Rocket Summer ever being big/mainstream.
