exactly. since when do the musical artists on late night talk shows have any relations to celebrity guests? they wouldn't even be on the screen at the same time.

There are so many potential duck jokes for this situation.

If anything this sort of backfired for Morrissey. It made me want to watch the interview with Duck Dynasty despite having never seen the show in my life, and in the process the cast sort of endeared themselves to me. Especially when they admitted that they thought that Morrissey was the lead singer of the Doors.

I was in favor of Morrissey backing out of the performance, but honestly, that second "statement" was immature and completely pointless. Kimmel definitely has taken the higher road.
