anyone here a barista or really into coffee? i drink coffee like water and figure it'd be smart to actually get educated about it and perhaps upgrade my set-up at home. ive always used a simple drip mr.coffee with the cheapest grinds i can find, but looking into getting a better machine or even going the aerorpress/frenchpress route. just a little concerned about how much additional work it would take cause i am lazy (especially in the morning).

If it's just for you, get a Keurig. The only reason I haven't got one is because I don't drink coffee enough to make it worth the cost.

i like keurigs a lot but i think i'm ready to move on to more refined flavorful stuff, not auto drip machines. i feel like a beer snob in that way.

My brother has an espresso machine, and I know he does a lot of different stuff with coffee blends, etc. Really, at this point, you may want to experiment with doing your own roasting, etc.

Pretty basic but the best coffee I've had in recent memory was from a stove-top percolator
