A little backstory for those who are unfamiliar with film lore.
In 1961 Stanley Kubrick started writing the screenplay for a film about the life of Napoleon Bonaparte , in 1968 he announced the film as one of his upcoming projects but he put it on the backburner and made Clockwork Orange instead. The film was never made due to budget and production issues and the script left unfinished. But Kubrick still saved the almost obsessive amounts of research he did on Napoleon's life.
Kubrick believed the Napoleon project would be the greatest film ever made.

Earlier this month Spielberg announced he was developing Kubrick's unfinished screenplay into a miniseries.

Napoleon's life story is rich with possibilities, but Spielberg should leave Kubrick's unfinished work alone.

because like someone else in here said Napoleon's life story is rich with possibilities, it would make a great miniseries.
