I was getting annoyed with some of the songs on the new Self-Titled Paramore album that I felt didn't belong on album that they created. I knew after listening to it a couple of times that there were really good songs on it but it just needed something else to make it a true Paramore album. You know, an album full of up tempo pop/rock songs mixed in with a few classic slow songs. So I eliminated 7 songs including the three useless interludes and came up with a new track listing. I think fans of older Paramore music will most likely enjoy this version more than the newer 'Post-Twilight' fans will. So check it out and if you like the album the way it is then that's fine too. I just wanted to give people a different way to listen to these great new songs that Paramore have written.

Track Listing

1.) Anklebiters
2.) Still Into You
3.) Last Hope
4.) Proof
5.) Ain't It Fun
6.) Hate To See Your Heart Break
7.) Grow Up
8.) Part II
9.) Be Alone
10.) Daydreaming

I agree with the fact that Fast In My Car isn't the best choice for an opener. I mean, you go from Careful to this?

I'm always curious as to why people want to delete or re-arrange songs on an album they had no part in helping create...

Careful is their best opening track. Fast In My Car is their best album opener.

I'd cut Now and Be Alone and keep everything else the same.

Mindfuck. Can't see the difference.

And even though I only listented to Fast In My Car for the 1st time today (it will probably grow), I still think it's their weakest opener. It lacks that "slap in your face" factor that openers demand IMO.

Big difference. If you take all of the opening tracks out of the context of their albums, Careful is easily the best song out of the four. If you consider the opening tracks within the thematic context of each respective album, Fast In My Car is, IMO, the best because it totally fits the atmosphere and aesthetic of rest of the self-titled both musically and lyrically. Careful totally defines brand new eyes lyrically (as does All I Wanted), but it doesn't really fit the rest of the album musically. I'd argue that Careful too much of a stand-out track on that record.
