Marianas Trench Sign With US Label, Announce US Tour Dates

Marianas Trench have signed with Cherrytree Records, which will handle all of the band's releases outside of Canada. A four song EP, Face the Music, will be released on on May 14th and two days after the band will begin a US tour. Dates are in the replies.

From the Press ReleaseAs they embark on the second leg of their sold-out FACETHE MUSIC arena tour of Canada; Vancouver-based Marianas Trench have announced their signing to Cherrytree Records as their new label home for all countries outside of Canada. In Canada, the band will remain on 604 Records. Marianas Trench will release their four-song U.S. debut Face The Music EP May 14th on Cherrytree/604Records/Interscope Records and will headline The Noise Tour Powered By Journeys which kicks off May 16that the Knitting Factory in Spokane, WA (see below for tour dates).

The Face The Music EP will feature four songs including "Desperate Measures" and “Haven’t Had Enough”, both of which are featured on Marianas Trench’s third full length Canadian release Ever After.

Below is a list of initial dates for The Noise Tour Powered By Journeys featuring Marianas Trench. All tickets go on sale April 12th. More dates to be announced soon.

Finally on a label in the states! I think they could be gigantic in the US.

They put on one of the best arena shows I've ever seen last October. Definitely curious to see if they can pull off the same thing in the US.

Are there going to be any new tunes on this EP?

They don't say, I think it'll just be acoustic tracks or something, but I could be wrong.

Saw them open for simple plan in vancouver last february and it was n amazing production. gonna have to be scaled down for these venues

I agree that they should be huge. I'm thinking they won't sell a ton of tickets for this tour, which is pretty sad. But we shall see! Hoping for a 15+ song set in Seattle. We will see!
