Really happy to see that pulling unfluences from Nu metal and nu rock of the early 2000's is becoming less and less taboo and unacceptable. Everyone denounced the whole genre for pretty much the last decade and it was silly. There were some great acts and great records. EVERYONE is doing this now and it's great because it will help freshen up a scene sound that has become just as predictable and stagnant as people have been saying nu rock/metal was for years.
That being said, I dig some of these songs, def a cool listen.
I can see them blowing up due to them opening that WCAR/Silverstein tour, but I could be wrong.
Either way, this album surprised the hell out of me, so damn good.
I think they need one more tour after the fall tour to get them off the ground. Their live show is great and full of energy but I just think they need to see a few more faces. Opening the WCAR tour is a great start but an opening spot is always tricky. I'm sure the next Rise Records tour, they'll be main support.
