i'm 99% sure that is the only legendary difference. aside from when you encounter ho-oh/lugia, obviously.

i'm pretty stoked for hgss actually. i never had gold or silver back in the day; actually, i pretty much stopped after yellow and didn't get back into it until diamond and pearl were released.

Ooooh right. Ho'oh and Lugia. I actually haven't bothered to trade for a Lugia for my dex in Diamond yet. Have a 10 Aniv Ho'oh lying around but neither of them do me much good I suppose. I'm excited for the new games too, they're gonna be sweet. I loved Gen II, I was playing it up until the end of last year when I got my DS, haha.

anyone have a perfect IV mudkip they'd be willing to trade? relaxed, preferably? most of what i can offer is in wide circulation on smogon, so i'm s.o.l. there.

No one on here RNGs though, so Smogon is your best bet. You could try to 'know' someone who can make one for you. Honestly I don't like the fact that RNG makes 'flawless' normal, I still breed the regular way.

i have a flawless ditto that i traded for on smogon, but whenever i try to breed a solid mudkip with it it loves giving me a 31/31/2/31/31/31 spread. it's really pissing me off.

i can't rng. i'm no good with the numbers aspect of the game.

lol, if you are getting 5 31s you are already very lucky. I have been getting screwed so bad with Growlithes I am taking a break from Pokemon this week. I have several quad flawless that ALL SUCK. So freaking disappointing. I can't even count how many I had come up with a random very low IV on like Def/SpD or something. Also have one that is 31/07/30/31/31/31 (Adamant). The game is taunting me.

i bred something like 8 generations of mudkips to get one with a decent stat spread. now i use it to breed with the ditto to try and get that flawless spread, but it continues to elude me.
