Half Hearted Hero will release their new EP, Running Water, on April 5, but you can stream the entire thing on their AP.net profile. Imagine the fast-paced bands of the new breed of pop punk like Set Your Goals or Fireworks mixed with those from the genre's yesteryear such as Slick Shoes and Student Rick and you have a pretty good idea of what's in store. Given the speed the band plays, Slick Shoes is an apt comparison. More'so than Set Your Goals or Fireworks--but those work too, I s'pose. The Swellers, Much the Same, MxPx, et cetra work better though. Just sayin'.
I'm not even sure how huge I was on Soundtrack for a Generation when I was 15. Spitalfield took that sound and improved it tenfold on Remember Right Now.
Oh, this band's pretty cool. Last album was basically a skatepunk take on Say It Like You Mean It.
