If Sony actually gave up Spidey (not sure they'd really do this), I'd be fine with them simply retaining the cast they have now and integrating them into the MCU.

I would be sooooo excited if Marvel gets the rights to Spidey back, especially if they retained this cast.

Yeah. I didn't expect it to fully happen, but I could see Sony trying to work with Marvel/Disney on bringing Spidey into the MCU.

That it would. I like Garfield as an actor, but he still feels too old for the role. It was definitely true as a high schooler when he was playing the role as a 27-28-year-old. From that standpoint, I thought Logan Lerman would've been a much better choice. Still, Garfield brings the acting chops and a lot of passion to the role.

He looks younger, but, in my opinion, he still doesn't look high school-aged at all. He has the personality down, but he still just doesn't feel like Peter Parker to me.

I don't mind him being in high school for the sake of the origin story, but I feel like he had to be a senior, and ASM2 should start with him graduating high school and going to college. That remedies the age issue (which is the only flaw in what I think is an otherwise excellent Parker/Spidey), and it also gives a very natural tool for introducing Harry and MJ.

Unfortunately, I feel like they're going to milk his high school years as much as they can, which is gonna be real awkward with Garfield soon in his 30s.

They're graduating in this movie, or at least according to the synopsis "graduation can't come soon enough."
