I get way too excited when employees know my "usual" at food places. It's kinda dorky and a sign that I need to stop eating junk, but at the same time, idk it's kinda nice to be remembered, like a reassurance that some stranger knows I exist, and might even notice if I went missing or something. The other day my creepy bus driver asked where I'd been since I hadn't ridden it in a while, and idk it was nice. He's still creepy, but it still felt good to know that random people notice if I'm gone for long periods of time. It makes me feel like I'm in someone's thoughts, even if it's just for that second.


It's kinda sad now that I type it out haha

there was a cafe on the first floor of the office building at my last job, I would always go in the morning and get an egg & cheese bagel sandwich, I'd just walk in and kinda nod at him and he'd make it for me, it was an awesome feeling haha

I don't eat meat, which leaves little options when I eat out, so eventually the employees remember me since I always have to order the same thing. One time a Mexican fast food place forgot my side order of guacamole, and I heard the girl behind the counter yell back, "C'mon guys! She comes in every day and orders the same thing! Get it together!" and after that I didn't go there for like a month lol. That was the height of my eating out, and just what I needed to get it together haha

i think i've got to admit to myself that i probably partially tore my acl when i was sledding a few months back and it's time to make an appointment to get it checked out. i really don't want to hear it's gonna require surgery.

it hurt for the first week or so, then the pain went away but my knee wasn't totally stable for awhile, now it feels unstable and it's hurting again.
