Stings giving up both d'Arnaud and Syndergaard, but it's pretty clear the Jays are going all-in now. A rotation of Dickey, Josh Johnson, Buehrle, Morrow and Ricky Romero would arguably be the best in baseball (Detroit's up there too) regardless of whether or not Romero returns to form.

Jays have given up a lot of top prospects recently and there's still quite a few interesting guys in their system. Big testament to how well the team has drafted since Anthopoulos came aboard.

I think a lot is riding on Josh Johnson staying healthy and Morrow pitching similar to 2012. Great rotation, though.

I think morrow is here to stay. Johnson himself said morrow should be the ace.

A side effect of this trade is it really helps the bullpen too. Happ instantly fills a big role as spot starter and replaces carlos v as long releiver. Now if oliver returns everything is set

What's the word on Carlos? Are they trying to resign him, or does he want to start somewhere? I assume the latter, I just haven't read much.

He is set on being a starter and was a little pissed when AA said he didnt think he could hold up as a full time starter. I see a slim to none chance he is back

So I'm assuming that the Mets are planning to pick up pitching scraps in free agency and see who they can get for good value... but I don't know what they're going to do about the outfield.
