Pain and Gain was good. Funny, dark, but 30 minutes too long. If Michael Bay would just continue making movies like this, things wouldn't be so bad.

The, "30 minutes too long," thing is Bay's trademark. I'd love a Bad Boys 3 though...

Watched Walkaround last night. Beautiful film, but talk about 'on the nose,' ha.

Haven't they come really close to making this a few times now?

I loved Pain and Gain though. Vintage Michael Bay. Though I did laugh way more at that move than any other Bay movie.

I'd be interested to see a new director's take on the series. I loved, "The Grey," so Joe has potential.

Pain and Gain wasn't too bad, but Wahlberg is just so incredibly inconsistent.

haven't gone to a double feature in a while, but on a rainy sunday...why not

Spy - 6.5/10

Definitely a serviceable comedy. Clearly better than I originally expected, but definitely no where near the insane praise it's been getting as of late. FAR too many "one-liner insult" jokes, that Will Ferrell was so famous for and what McCarthy has adopted as one of her shticks as well. There was one scene between her and Statham that seemed to go on forever, and that was basically my biggest gripe with the movie. Every joke was killed to death by the time the movie ended. I LOVED Rose Byrne in this for some reason, and I think McCarthy's husband had my favorite joke of the whole movie.

Dope - 9.5/10

Amazing. As soon as I saw the trailer for this thing, I KNEW this would end up becoming one of my favorites of the year. Fun, great message, amazing soundtrack, and the whole time I was just digging the hell out of it. Awesome characters, great vibe....I can go on and on. This will be tough to top for the year

The Rock was just awesome. I've seen that movie more times than I care to know. It had it's funny spots yeah, but Pain and Gain had this humor that was pretty consistent throughout, which I didn't expect.

Yeah I'd be more than alright w/ a different director at the helm. Martin Lawrence age has shown a bit more over the years, but I'm confident they could smooth it out.

Feeling things is the most important thing.

I also felt things from this movie much in the same as Toy Story 3 did. The power of being able to relate to experiences of the young human characters.

Also I would like to add that Noah Baumbach's "While We're Young" was a decent film. Not as good as Greenberg in my opinion. Reminded me of the Stan and Sharon storyline in South Park's "You're Getting Old" episode.

Have to say my favorite so far has been the Kingsman. Matthew Vaughn never fails to deliver a good time at the movies.
