WNBA aside, what are some of the dumbest team names in pro sports?

Oklahoma City Thunder - horrible. lame. gay. all at the same time.

LA Clippers - wtf is a clipper? i think of a grooming utensil.

LA Lakers - yeah, the city is known for its lakes. too lazy to change its name after the move.

Utah Jazz - another example of a lazy franchise.

San Diego Padres - the Fathers?

Houston Texans - very creative... its like naming your team the New York New Yorkers.

Minnesota Wild - as if hockey wasn't unpopular enough... about 95% of the teams all have stupid names.

Anaheim (Mighty) Ducks - even the players are embarrassed about this one
