Holy shit. All those legendaries. I might have to do a bunch of SRing. I'm going to migrate over some master balls also...

Also, with the starters, I'm going to get Typhlosion, Venasaur, then Swampert and kinda make a team out of those. It'll be awesome.

That's true, but Steelix aren't that common. I have a Frisk Banette so if I was really desperate. I should have left one on one of my Gen III games so I could clone it ;___;

Well, my favorite game of all time before was Pokemon Silver (followed by Ocarina of Time), so an improved remake will obviously take its spot.

I might have messed up on some EVs, plus I didn't have time to get the perfect TMs, so I had to make do. Mine's at lvl 50 also. I'll try to post stats tonight. (Wait, I can't because I don't have my DS....)

I might have to agree with 11:11 here. I think Pokemon is my all-time favorite game ever, with Gold version being my favorite, so I can't see why HG/SS can't match or even top that.

Yeah, I will probably attach Master Balls to the team I import at the beginning. Now in a few months I can have a fun breeding project like I did for Platinum. Shouldn't be as hard now that I have more resources. Actually I'm so excited about Noctowl, I may do that pretty soon, haha.

That's cool, I think I'm gonna use the stuff available in the first part of the game. Now I can reasonably get a Hitmontop for my team if I want. Although I may just make one of those, and use something else like Hitmonchan on the actual team. Too bad Hitmonchan is pretty slow.

Well, your logic may not be flawed, but we'll see if it's really 'improved' when we play it. And Crystal > Silver.

Oh, NBD. We might have EV'd differently anyway. I ended up with 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe. Had to do the extra 4 HP because my HP IV is 30. The speed doesn't really matter anyway, because I have Scizor counters on my team. I shouldn't be doing Scizor on Scizor unless I am desperate, haha.

Will still be easy. I'm bummed they dropped Whitney's by a level, that gym is one of the best parts of the game. That Miltank...I might leave most of my team in the PC so I can prove my skillz as a pokemon master.

Agreed, in-game bugs are too easy. I remember Whitney's Miltank using Rollout and just annihilating me because I didn't know Rollout was a Rock move. Ugghhh hahahaha

Though Silver has not failed me yet. I still have the original game from the day it came out, and it has not died.

I got Crystal from my little brother. He never played it and I took it a few years ago. That is what got me back into Pokemon years after putting down my originals, haha.

I am happy to say that last time I checked my GSC carts all work as well :]

I'm definitely using Victreebel and Quagsire. I need to write down my team ideas. I might do a theme, or I might just zoom on through. With the DPPt trading, I have a lot more freedom.

I think I tried for the same spread. With the extra HP just because I was in a hurry. That gives me a bit more confidence. The only problem is the moveset.

I always get the Machop and sweep the gym. Easiest gyms in the seiries in my opinion.

My little stepbrother bought Crystal, but he hardly played it. He did manage to clock 212 hours into his Gold version though until it died

10 years is quite a long time!

What I really wanted out of the new games was the ability to use Wi-Fi, because that was my only problem with the originals later in life. After you beat Red, there's nothing to do. Now they have plenty of other things for you to do so the replay value goes way up.

Yeah, I will hopefully have collected good versions of most of them by then, though. I can restart FR for the birds. I have all the Emerald ones except Timid Latias, which would be a huge headache to reset for in HG/SS anyway. The Dogs will also be a pain, but I may try for Suicune or Raikou. As long as you don't release them until late in the game when you have time and patience for a good one...

Yeah, I'm glad for the trading, now I can make something cool. I'm thinking Scyther might be cool to use for a sweeper. I bred a bunch already when making the Scizor, probably wouldn't be too hard to find a good Scyther to use, or breed a Jolly one. Technician + Swords Dance = Aerial Ace PWN. I think his weaknesses are well covered by my other guys (Meganium, Noctowl, Quagsire) except for Ice. So I'll need something to fix that. I'm getting lots of ideas, I'll have to work it out :D

The last 4 HP EVs are just not useful because of SR numbers and all that. You want it to be odd. It's not gonna kill you if you have max, but 343 is what you're shooting for so that's what I'm using. My set is Swords Dance / U-Turn / Bullet Punch / Brick Break.

Ahhh...yeah I have just under 200 hours on Crystal. Gold and Silver I restart. I have been meaning to migrate stuff off Gold and Silver to Stadium where it will probably be safer in the case of battery death. I have most good stuff on Crystal, but my bro got that a while after Crystal came out, so it's probably good for a while. I need to finish my dex on that game, I have like 2 or 3 left to get.

It's true, I suppose the new ones do have more to do...

Mine is kinda close to that. The only for sure IV I know is Max Attack. though I think you're using my exact moveset though.

Yeah, it's such a shame that all the FR/LG dogs are crap. Otherwise I'm sure I'd have a good Suicune by now. The only ones that have a chance of good IVs are the Distant Land (Colloseum) ones or the 10 Aniv/Other events.

Oh good call. Are there any good fire types available besides Typhlosion? I doubt you can get Rapidash until the second part of the game, right? I am not sure I want to be one of those guys that uses all three Johto starters .___.

All shiny team sounds good. I got the shiny Drifloon I was wanting, it's Timid which is at least decent. I don't have that many other battle worthy shinies except Adamant Shroomish, Bold Venusaur (too late though, I already trained it xD), and Bold Vaporeon (Also trained, haha). I could also use the shiny Mew I just got I suppose.

Probably, it's a pretty common set. I was using Roost, but I need the extra power on my team. On Shoddy I have Night Slash for Rotom instead of Brick Break, but since the Rotom forms can't be on Wi-Fi, it won't be needed. I think I told you, but mine has IVs 30/31/30/xx/27/30.

Try beating it with something very weak to Rock attacks xD
