my 7cents; just from looking at the kinda bands that get thrown on those compilations
i'd say about 2 bands would sound alright on punk goes rap
everything would be butchered on punk goes classic rock
indie is what half the bands recon they are anyway
punk goes country would be interesting but probably wouldn't appeal to many punk goes... fans
& punk goes dance is where most of those bands music seems to be headed anyway

winner: punk goes one hit wonder
might turn out alright

I voted One Hit Wonders but The 80's and 90's were alot of one hit wonders, so I also think Country would would be cool, Imagine Ache breaky Heart as performed by Fall Out Boy.

because i'd love to see a group do Lisa Loeb's "Stay." I love that song, with all my heart.

And sure, she put out more albums after that single, but she wasn't really as popular after that song.

i was at the tooth and nail tour and everyone started singing friends in low places... punk goes country would be cool.... though punk goes piano would be sweet where bands take one of their own and remake it with a piano

Punk Goes "One Hit Wonders" seems like a pretty good idea.
