I download music all the time, but I go out and purchase the music as well when I find that I enjoy it. If I don't like it...it's deleted. Simple as that.

Without downloading, I wouldn't have heard of half the bands I listen to... and in turn, I would never have bought their CD, gone to their live show, bought their neon glasses, etc.

It makes complete sense. The people who download the most music are the people who are most interested in music in general, so it's only logical that those are the same people who'd purchase the most records.
